Making Moschino Mainstream

I am one of the people who personally loves the work Jeremy Scott does for Moschino. His designs are fun and he's bringing back he care free youngster attitude to the fashion community, but his pieces aren't always easy to wear. His runway looks are usually bright and powerful and clashing prints, over accessorized and a lot of "that looks good on the model but I could never go out in public dressed like that" kinda vibe. So I've created three looks with pieces from last season (all from the Barbie segment) and tried to make them look like 'normal' outfits. Take a look below! x

NYFW FW15 - Top 5 Shows, Top 5 Looks

About time I got around to posting my favourite shows and looks from NYFW this season. Usually I like to give lesser known designers a look in, rather then the bigger named brands, but this season I had to go with these 5 huge brands. Style Icon - Gigi Hadid

Probably my favourite new model, probably because we're the same age. Whatever the reason, Gigi Hadid is DEFINITELY my new style icon. I guess growing up in California gave her an immediate cool, laid back style. However, when she attends events, she knows how to turn it up! She always looks amazing and always inspires me. x

Awards Season

Awards season is upon us and we have already seen some amazing fashion and talent on display a the Grammys, Baftas, and Golden Globes. Not to mention the start of fashion season in New York, some of the biggest films are premièring right now and also some of fashions biggest parties are taking place - the amfAR Gala was last night. I love seeing the couture choices at this time of year, and above are some of my top picks for some amazing dresses I found on the Harvey Nichols website. Style Icon - Kylie Jenner

I realise that Kylie Jenner is not someone I obsess over daily, but, like me, she is a style chameleon and I love her laid back Cali fashion choices. To be honest, I much prefer her casual style. Ripped jeans and flannel shirts are always a good choice. Also, her Coachella outfits were so on point last year - I'm excited to see what 2015 has in store for this young beauty! x
