Better known as LLY MLRS, Lily is a London based blogger and Youtuber. Known for her quirky style and I-don't-give-a-damn attitude, she has risen to blogging fame in the past few years. I personally take a lot of inspiration from Lily's outfits and she is definitely one of my favourite bloggers, not to mention she has impeccable music taste. She writes a beauty blog, too, which is full of useful tips and reviews on all kinds of beauty products. Check out her blogs here and here, and her YouTube channels here and here!

Dreams & Aspirations
I left school in 2011 and since then, I have kind of flitted around doing random things. I went to school in Germany and moved back to England when I was sixteen. My family decided to move to the South West, which made doing what I actually wanted to do kind of hard, as there isn't much opportunity where we live.
My main passion is the music business. It's something I have always been interested in and something that I never get bored of. I spend hours reading the latest music news and I religiously listen to the charts every Sunday. However, you can't simply 'go' into the music industry.
I know, I know. Every second person wants to work in music, but not every second person actually has a passion for it. When I tell people my aspirations, they think I just want to meet famous people or get free concert tickets, but to be totally honest, those are things I don't often think about.
Now I have finally finished college (for good!) I have a lot more time to search for proper ways to intern in music, but all of these opportunities are up in London. Lucky for me, my grandparents live in Hertfordshire so it isn't a long journey from their house to the city. In September, I am moving in with them, which will make going for interviews a hell of a lot easier for me!
Leaving my family and friends behind will obviously be a bit strange at first, but in time it will get better. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that if you have a dream, go for it! I can't tell you the amount of times my parents and other people have told me that I don't stand a chance, but I have been attending several interviews recently and am so excited for what's to come!
Follow your heart!
Here is a picture of me at school, in case you were wondering! (on the end)

Washed Up Mermaid
Recently my younger sister Rebecca has been obsessed with dying her hair. She searched online to find a great colour and she finally came across the Bleach London line in Boots. She looked at several different colours, after finally choosing the shade 'Washed Up Mermaid' - a green/blue tone which is so pretty. The jewel tones look amazing in the light and I think that this look really suits her!
The process was so simple, too. Bleaching the ends with the Bleach London dip-dye kit and then just applying the dye 15 minutes later! Because her hair is really dark, we did have to re-dye it the next day but now it looks super cute and mermaid-like (especially when curly)!
