Nails For The Festive Season
This Christmas, I've gone with a vampy wine red on my nails. Teamed with silver midi rings, I think this is a great combination instead of the bright red and gold combination I would usually go with. What colour are you going for this festive season? x

Style Icon - Rachel Mae (Asos Stylist)
If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know I follow many of the Asos stylists. They have amazing style and recommend products you might miss on the website. A particular fave of mine is Rachel Mae. Her style has major 70's vibes and is so perfect, not to mention the hair envy. Take a look at some of my favourite looks of hers below and be sure to check her out on Instagram! x

"We Turned Strangers On the Internet Into What They've Always Wanted to Be" Vice Online
So happy to share the first shoot I've assisted on as part of my internship! The shoot was a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too! I'm loving my internship, and although I can't say much, helping out on shoots is one of the best things. I love seeing the shots being prepared and now seeing the finished product! Take a look at the full article on Vice Online! x

Styling Docs
Ever since I first saw Hayley Williams wearing white Dr Martens, I've always wanted a pair of my own. Bearing in mind I was about 13 when I first became a Paramore fan and the boots were around £90 - I definitely couldn't afford them. Now at 19, they're slightly more into an approachable price range and after my sister got a pair earlier this year, I've regained my obsession. I think I want black ones, plain and simple, but I'm still not decided. I've heard so much about them being the most amazing and comfortable, not to mention versatile, boots (after you get through the pain of breaking them in which I've heard hurts like a bitch) and they just go with everything! Below are a couple of outfits I've come up with featuring Docs - there's even a summer alternative with the cherry ersion to show just how versatile and value for money they are! Enjoy! x

This Is Welcome
One of the best things about my internship is finding out about new brands, or learning more about brands I've heard of but not in depth. So far, I'm so happy I've discovered This Is Welcome! An amazing brand with super nice threads, think cool logo t shirts and sweatshirts, and even socks! My fave pieces are pictured below, let me know what you think! x

So, it's been a while...
Hey y'all! So, I just wanted to write a little something to say I'm SO sorry I haven't posted for ages! I've been so busy and I don't have much time to post anymore but I love blogging so much I am going to schedule loads of posts this weekend and try to post when I can!
My internship is taking up most of my time and I love working there so, so much so I don't mind at all but I felt like I needed to explain to you guys why I've been pretty quiet on here. You can keep up with my antics on social media (above) and hopefully you'll hear from me soon! Peace!

The Dreamternship
(Some examples of Kylie's work - styling 5 Seconds of Summer and Lower Than Atlantis)
Yo! So, I have the most amazing super exciting mind-blowing news ever to tell you guys... I have scored an internship with one of my all time favourite stylists: Kylie Griffiths! Kylie has worked with some of my favourite bands (like Bring Me The Horizon and Lower Than Atlantis) and I've been following her work for around 2 years. I saw on a fashion work website that she was looking for an intern and I applied like 2 months ago, and then the other day I had an email asking if I wanted to go for an interview with her assistant. I got the job there and then and I have no idea why they want me to work for them. I have very little experience but I am so grateful and I feel so lucky that someone I admire has taken a chance on me and omg it's so surreal. I will update you more when I've been there a little while longer.

Recipe: Healthy Kale Crisps
Ok, probably the most basic recipe in the world other than toast, but I love making these so I thought I would share! I've been trying to eat a bit healthier this month seeing as Christmas is coming up. I thought if I go healthy now, I can treat myself at Christmas without feeling guilty. I'd say it makes sense. Kale is a vegetable I hated growing up. My Mum used to give it to me with roast dinners and it would smell so bad. However recently I've been having a lot of kale based juices and I had some kale crisps when I was in Pret A Manger recently, so I had a bash at making them myself.
What you'll need:
- Kale
- Salt and black pepper
- Whatever other seasoning you like (I use garlic and coriander and sometimes chilli powder)
Ok, so instead of doing this in steps I'm just gonna tell you like this because there's only like, 2 steps. First, you cut the kale up into however many pieces you like and whatever thickness you like. After this, you just spread them out on a baking tray and season them. I grind salt and pepper and then sprinkle it with garlic and coriander and then they just go in the oven (I don't have a certain gas-mark or anything) and just keep an eye on them until you think they look crispy and brown. One thing I do sometimes is to leave them overnight so they go really dry and crispy like proper crisps.
Let me know if you try this recipe! x

Coven
I heard so much buzz about American Horror Story so, in the spirit of Halloween, I decided to give it a go. Firstly let me just say, it's freaking scary! I was so shocked about how scary it was because I hear so many teens talking about it on social media, but it really freaked me out! I skipped the second half of Murder House and all of Asylum because I was actually so terrified (lame) and started watching Coven because my friend told me it wasn't as scary as the others. Let's get one thing straight: the costume choices in Coven are gorgeous! The 75% black and 25% white clothing thing was so pretty and interesting and reflected the characters perfectly. I was really inspired by the fashion in Coven as I wear a lot of monochrome-based outfits anyway, so the show introduced me to new ways of styling classic black and white. The great thing about the outfits I've styled below is they can work as an AHS inspired Halloween costume or as your witchy everyday casual wear. Another great reason to watch Coven? Evan Peters. Enough said.

How Do You Selfie?
I see a lot of blog posts and YouTube videos with titles like "How To Take The Perfect Selfie" and "Perfecting The Selfie" and I just wanted to say, I think that's so weird! Nobody is the same and posting a selfie is something you should be comfortable with.
Being confident with yourself is a great thing, and posting a selfie is a sign that you are happy with shows that. There is no 'correct' way to pose for a selfie. Yes, I understand that some people have, sort of 'themed' Instagram accounts, etc. and they have certain ways they like to pose for their aesthetic, but basically what I'm trying to say is that if YOU like your picture, post it! x
